An overhead 360 video booth needs a clear 3.5 × 3.5 m area with at least 3.5 m of ceiling height, a flat and firm floor, a standard power socket within a few metres and, outdoors, a spot with cover or wind protection. Setup takes 60 to 90 minutes and happens before guests arrive, the equipment fits through a normal door and lift, and the best position is next to the dance floor or in the cocktail area, with the screen visible from the tables.
Dimensions and height
The booth needs a 3.5 × 3.5 m square free of tables, chairs and decoration, so the arm rotates unobstructed and guests step in and out comfortably. The 3.5 m height concerns the overhead system, which hangs from its own frame and not from the venue's ceiling, so nothing is attached to the building. For rooms with a lower ceiling ask us before booking; another position often solves it.
Floor
Flat and firm: tiles, marble, a wooden deck, paving or firm lawn. Sand and gravel do not work, because the base cannot stand firmly. At beach weddings the answer is the deck or paving next to the beach, which almost every venue has.
Power
One standard 220V socket within a few metres of the spot is enough for the booth, the lighting and the screen. We bring our own extension leads. At venues running on a generator let us know, so we coordinate the load with the DJ.
Outdoor venues
The booth sets up in gardens, courtyards and terraces, with two conditions: cover or an alternative spot in case of rain, and protection from strong wind, which affects the fog, the bubbles and the picture. A spot under a pergola or next to a wall is ideal. At night our RGB lighting and ring light produce the look, so no extra venue lighting is needed.
Where to place it
The best position is where people pass: at the edge of the dance floor or in the cocktail area, with the screen facing the tables. That way every clip looping on the screen brings the next group to the queue. Avoid isolated rooms or corridors, where the booth gets forgotten.
Access, loading and timeline
The equipment fits through a normal door and a normal lift. We need a parking spot near the entrance for 30 minutes of loading, and the same at the end. We arrive 60 to 90 minutes before the time you want the booth to start, test sound, lighting and delivery, and teardown at the end takes about 30 minutes.
