Programme supporting new entrepreneurship for unemployed people aged 18-29

The business

Videobooth.pro is a new Greek business providing 360° video booth services at weddings, christenings, birthdays and corporate events across Greece. Guests are filmed by a rotating 360-degree camera and receive their video digitally, within seconds, ready to share.

The business was created and began operating under the action “Programme supporting new entrepreneurship for unemployed people aged 18-29” of the Greek Public Employment Service (DYPA). The beneficiary of the support is Georgia Nomikou, who, as an unemployed person aged 18-29, created her own self-employment position with this support.

Subject matter and objectives of the action

The subject matter of the action is to promote self-employment through the creation of new small and medium-sized enterprises by unemployed people aged 18-29, with an emphasis on women's entrepreneurship and on the digital and green economy.

The action is implemented throughout the Greek territory.

In the first cycle of the action, 2,114 unemployed people aged 18-29 who are not in employment, education or training receive support.

Expected results

• Creation of one new business and the start of a professional activity.
• Creation of one new self-employment position for a young woman aged 18-29, strengthening women's entrepreneurship.
• Operation of the business for at least twelve (12) months from the start of the activity.
• Provision of a new, specialised service to the Greek events market: 360° video capture with instant digital delivery of the videos to participants.
• A digital business model: online booking and booking management through videobooth.pro, digital processing and electronic delivery of the audiovisual material, with no paper or physical storage media.
• Bilingual service (Greek and English), so that the service is also accessible to visitors from abroad.

The support

The grant per beneficiary is €17,500, paid in three instalments: €4,700 after the start of the activity, €6,400 after the end of the first six months of operation and €6,400 after the end of the second six months.

The total and the eligible budget of the action are €37,000,000.00. The duration of the action is 02/2026 – 12/2029.

Support from the European Union

The action is co-financed by the Hellenic Republic and the European Social Fund Plus (ESF+), under the “Human Resources and Social Cohesion 2021-2027” Programme of the 2021-2027 Partnership Agreement. The action is managed by the Greek Public Employment Service (DYPA), designated as Intermediate Body of the Programme.

The business accepts its inclusion in the list of operations published on the www.espa.gr portal, in accordance with articles 47, 49 and 50 and Annex IX of Regulation (EU) 2021/1060.
